Created by Derran Eaddy, the Solstik Project has grown out of an interest to create, document and share interesting aspects of life. The project's evolution over time has expanded the site's coverage to include a broad range of topics and events.

Derran Eaddy's world view is rooted in his Master's level liberal arts education, which he has applied in his award winning professional endeavors.

He has wrangled media at the National Education Association awards program honoring former President Bill Clinton, and greeted American Idol Winner Fantasia Barrino while filming a reunion segment at her elementary school in North Carolina.

He was a sponsored skateboarder on the world's largest skateboarding team, sang lead vocals in a band that performed on Austin, Texas' famous 6th St., and he is a self-taught pianist with several self-produced CDs.
